Recital Costumes, Payment Reminder, Payment Schedule

2009 Recital Costume Update

• December & January is "costume time" at TSDC !!!

• Costume selections by the class Instructors are underway and
    will be completed by Jan 1^st.

• All students are being measured and sized.

• ALL Costumes will be ordered from the vendors the first week of January.

• After costumes are ordered, students cannot drop or switch classes.
     If you should drop a class after January 1^st, 2009, you are still responsible to pay in full for  the costume.

• Classes can be added and you are responsible to pay in full for a costume,

• There are NO refunds for costumes once ordered.

• 1 recital costume will be ordered for each of the classes enrolled in
  (Including the Dance Company).

• TSDC must be notified in writing on or before Jan. 1st, 2009, if your child is NOT performing in the annual recital. At that time you will be refunded for all costume payments made to date.

• Your costumes will NOT be ordered if there is any outstanding balance on your account as of January 10, 2009.

• Price of a costume does not include required accessories such as tights,
   new shoes, hairpieces, earrings, etc.

• Costumes begin arriving from the suppliers in mid-May.

• There will be an announced day for the  distribution of the costumes to the students.

  •  During that time parents will be instructed on the details of the costume and accessories.

• All costume pictures along with detailed costume & accessory info will be posted on the web site and in the TSDC lobby by April 1^st, 2009.

Tuition Payment Reminder, Policies & Schedule

• Payment # 5 is due December 20, 2008
  (See TSDC Payment Schedule below)

• Each class meets 35 times during the dance year, 9/28/08 thru 9/20/09.
  (See Class Meeting Calendar below.)

• Tuition rate per class is determined by the number of classes enrolled in.
  (See TSDC Tuition Rate table below.)

• Monthly Tuition rate is calculated by multiplying the tuition rate per class times 35 (the total # of class meetings during the year) and then dividing that amount by 10. 
  This results in the 10 equal monthly payments shown on your payment coupons.

• All holidays and scheduled dance center closings, such as Nutcracker and Christmas break) are taken into account when the tuition rate is determined.
