Tara Morrone

Tara Morrone has dedicated her life to dance.  She studied ballet intensely for sixteen years.  She began her training at the Philadelphia Civic Ballet under Carla Craig.  She then went on to study with Marion Tonner at the Ballet Center in Philadelphia.  Year after year Tara performed in countless ballet productions such as Raymonda, Etudes, Moulin Rouge, Carmina Burana, Paquita, Mid Summer Night's Dream and La Bayadere at the Drake Theatre and Mandell Theatre in Philadelphia..
Summers were no exception to her training.  She has won countless merit scholarships to such prestigious summer programs such as Boston Ballet, Milwaukee Ballet, Princeton Ballet and the Florida Conservatory of Dance.  Tara also studied at the famous Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet under Marcia Dale Weary. 

In the year 2000 Tara danced in the New York City based company, "Ballet Tech" under Artistic Director, Elliot Feld.  She performed in such works as Contra Pose, Paper Tiger, Skara Brae, and was understudy to the lead in Doo Dah Day.

Tara continues her studies at the Koresh Dance Center in Philadelphia and at STEPS in New York City taking classes in ballet, jazz, modern and tap.  She will grace the stage at GCC this December as the Sugar Plum Fairy in the Center Stage Production of the Nutcracker.
