Jonathan Tannis
Jonathan Tannis has a list
of credits that is impossible to imagine for his young age. He was born
into a theatrical family in Vancouver, British Columbia in Canada.
However, for being one of the younger siblings, Jonathan has more than made up
for his youth.
He attended the McHardy
Studio in Vancouver and studied tap, jazz, hip hop and musical theater.
  
Jon
has won numerous awards in the West Coast of the US and Canada in such
competitions as "5, 6, 7, 8", "ShowTime",
"Rainbow Connection" "Dance Power" and "Show
Stoppers".

So you think you can dance....

In the summer of 2005, Jon found himself in the
spotlight on national tv as a performer on the hit show "So You Think
You Can Dance". The popular show which aired on the Fox Network
propelled Jon to stardom as he made it to the final sixteen dancers.
Since then Jon has joined his dancing brothers, Ben and Mitchell, in Las
Vegas where he too is working now as a dancer in a popular casino show.

As
a youngster n Vancouver he performed professionally at the Pacific
National Exposition. Jonathan is the assistant choreographer with
"T Troupe Productions" and is their principal singer/dancer in
their revue.
Jonathan studied ballet at the Atlantic Contemporary
Ballet Theater outside of Atlantic City and at the Broadway Dance Center
in NYC. He was featured in the ACBT production of
"Nutcracker".
Future plans for Jonathan are to pursue musical theater and music
video performance.
