Brenda Stefanko

Brenda began her love of dance at a very young age.  She studied ballet tap and jazz with Patty Sloan at the Leonardo Dance Studio. While in high school Brenda began to student teach and found great fulfillment in working with children.  By attending several yearly teacher workshops she had the opportunity to study with famous master teachers such as Debbie Dee, Frank Hatchett, Sherri Gold and Al Gilbert.

After graduation from high school Brenda was accepted as a dance major at Glassboro State College.  While in college she continued to teach dance and found great success in the college performance arena.  She was a member of the college dance company and performed extensively with them under the direction of Tage Wood, the director of the dance department.  Brenda studied with such well known teachers as Melanie Stewart, Alexi Yudenich, Barbara Sondonato, Henry Roy, Victor Moreno, Patti Harris, and Ann Vachon.

As a full time mother of two children, Laura and Billy, Brenda still teaches at Tricia Sloan Dance Center--one day per week.  She lives in West Deptford Township with her husband, Bill.
