Angela Sette

Angela comes from a family of dancers. She began dancing with her mom and two sisters at the age of four.  Angela studied with some of the best known teachers in Pennsylvania.  One of these greats is Gary Flannary who was a Fosse dancer on Broadway and appeared in the movie, “All That Jazz” with Ann Reinking.  She also studied with Rex Hendrix who was the choreographer for the Evening Magazine Dancers. 

Angela studied classical ballet (RAD) with Marion Tonner in Philadelphia and she has taken classes in New York at Steps.  In addition to her dancing, Angela took many years of gymnastics and even went on to compete.  She studied acting and took years of singing lessons to further expand her artistic talents.

Angela holds a Bachelors degree in science majoring in education from Thomas Jefferson University and her Associates in dental hygiene from the Community College of Philadelphia.

Keeping dance a part of her life, Angela has taken classes in local studios as she married and had her three children.  After moving to Mullica Hill she knew it was important to find a new studio that would not only teach dance but one that builds self confidence and never forgets about the individual. 

As she and her daughter started taking classes with Tricia Sloan, Angela knew had found the place that has that family-friendly feel she grew up with.  Angela is very happy to be a teacher here at TSDC.  She believes this school is family oriented and has a warm and creative atmosphere where she can share her love of dance with others.
