Fang was born and raised in Taiwan. She attended the Kaohsiung City Ballet and
the Chinese Arts School where she received her high school diploma in ballet,
modern and Chinese dance.
She traveled to Australia and attended the Queensland University of Technology
and the Queensland Dance School of Excellent in Brisbane. As a scholarship
recipient she studied ballet and character dance and earned an associates degree
from the Queensland University of Technology, Academy of the Arts/Dance.

Fang came to the United States and graduated from the University of the Arts
in Philadelphia with a BFA in Ballet, Modern, Jazz and Dance Education in
May of 2000.
Her dance training has also taken her to the Joffery Ballet in New York as a
scholarship student and the Pennsylvania Ballet Summer Program
As a member of the Koresh Dance
Company in Philadelphia for the past five years, Fang has performed
extensively all over the world. When she is not performing, she spends time
in the classroom teaching dance. |

At present she teaches at Temple University and at the Koresh Dance Center.
She has also taught at the Philadelphia Performing Arts Charter School, The
Children’s Ballet Theater of Philadelphia and The J.W. Catherine School.
In 2000 Fang received the Aleksej Judenic Ballet Prize from the University
of the Arts. |
