| What is The Dance Company? |
The Dance Company is a group of dedicated,
dynamic and versatile
young people at the Tricia Sloan Dance Center, who enjoy and love the art form of DANCE.
The members of Dance Company take several required classes each
week building a strong technique. At the weekly company rehearsals
new choreography is taught that includes, jazz funk, lyrical, musical theater,
ballet and tap. These routines are rehearsed and performed in the
annual company show, recitals and special appearances throughout the year.
Dance company members' ages range from 7 through 18.

| What are the
dues for company & what are they used for? |
Dues for each dancer are $6.50 per week.
The dues are used for following purposes:

Compensation for
the 4 to 6 TSDC instructors for the 10 hours of rehearsal time each
week.

Elimination of all
necessary fund raising by parents, dance company members and their families. -
The purchase of a second company costume used for the recital, company show, local appearances and dance competitions.

The additional company costume purchased is your dancer's at the end of the dance year.

Reimbursement of all travel and related expenses for any guest choreographers who are brought to TSDC from New York, Philadelphia, Atlantic City and other locations for purposes of directing/choreographing our company members.

The purchase of TSDC Dance Company shirts worn at
the Camden Riversharks appearance
and performance. -
Annual Dance Company Trophy

the annual company show including:

Rent of the theater

Technical, lighting
and sound crew salaries

Purchase of music and choreography rights

Backdrop, scenery &
